**Program** **Overview**

The Comcast internship/co-op program will help you cultivate meaningful relationships, develop strong interpersonal and business skills, gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a Fortune 40 media and technology company, and receive mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network.
This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.
**Organization & Team** **Overview**
Corporate Accounting and Reporting consists of the following:
+ External financial reporting – SEC reporting, earnings release reporting
+ Corporate Controllership – consolidations, controllership
+ Technical Accounting – accounting research and policies, accounting for acquisitions
+ Enterprise Accounting – Treasury and Compensation and Benefits accounting
**Role Description**
The co-op would play a key role on the Corporate Controllership team supporting the monthly and quarterly consolidations and external reporting processes. The co-op would gain exposure to consolidated roll forwards, journal entries and analysis reports, and financial reporting deliverables.
**Job Responsibilities**
Co-op responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Monthly and quarterly financial close activities
+ Post journal entries, run analysis reports and review internal documents
+ Review of external and internal financial reporting deliverables including the 10-Q/K, earnings press release and financial statement analysis
+ Prepare financial statement footnotes, review supporting documents
+ Preparation of consolidatedroll forwards
+ Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ A willingness to collaborate with team members
+ Ability to problem-solve
+ Microsoft suite (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
+ Strong decision-making capabilities
+ Preferred Majors: Accounting or Accounting Information Systems
**Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements**
+ Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University, with a cooperative learning track.
+ Available to work 40 hours per week for 6 months starting March 31, 2025 through September 19, 2025.
+ Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
+ Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)
