Key Responsibilities:
Daily collection calls (Outbound/Inbound)Contact customers regarding overdue accounts and determine reasons for non-paymentMaintain accurate records of all collection activities, conversations, and payment commitments with customersMonitor customer accounts for non-payment, late payment and other irregularitiesProcess credit card paymentsUse skip tracing techniques to locate customersResearch/investigate historical data and resolve payment discrepancies and provide backups to customersRespond to customer questions and requests and resolve those questions/issuesComplying with applicable laws, regulations, policies and proceduresOvercome stall tactics and objection by suggesting different options for debt paymentFollow company policies, procedures, and directives from supervisors/managersPerform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by managementKnowledge, Skills and Competencies:
At least two years (2) of collection experienceWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office-Outlook, Word and ExcelMust be able to work a flexible scheduleProficient computer and math skillsSelf-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlinesProven interpersonal, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication with outstanding phone etiquette and interpersonal skillsAble to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independentlyPossess strong logic, ability to take initiative and able to negotiateWorking Conditions:
