Motivate and lead a collateral review team to ensure pipeline metrics and quality goals are executed with sustained success. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Lead and manage assigned appraisal analyst to ensure that pipeline metrics and quality guidelines are met. 2. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Mortgage Lending product and ensure the adherence to all appropriate collateral risk management policies, procedures, controls and compliance regulations. 3. Monitor collateral trends and provide appropriate feedback, coaching and/or training as needed. 4. Identify and determine next steps for collateral issues that have been escalated. 5. Perform second tier reviews of collateral documentation as required. 6. Develop team's relationship with other departments and sales. 7. Act as a collateral escalation point between other departments and sales. 8. Resolve or coordinate the resolution of client service related problems. 9. Recruit, develop, mentor and retain high-performing teammates to ensure ongoing success in meeting department goals. 10. Manage day-to-day operations of assigned appraisal analyst. QUALIFICATIONS Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Seven or more years of mortgage or consumer loan underwriting experience. 2. Three years of continuous collateral review experience. 3. Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, in relating to internal and external clients. 4. Demonstrates proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Suite products. 5. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight. Preferred Qualifications: 1. State certified or licensed appraiser. 2. FHA DE (CHUMS) / VA SAR/LAPP. 3. Understanding of appraisal compliance and generally accepted appraisal rules. 4. Experience with using appraisal and market evaluation tools. 5. Demonstrates proficiency in mortgage automated processing systems. 6. Basic knowledge of bank services and products. 7.
