Collaboration & Data Services Manager

Job Description

The Leidos, Navy Marine Corps IT Business Area has an opportunity for a Collaboration & Data Services Manager, supporting the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) program, among others. The Collaboration & Data Services Manager will lead multiple teams responsible for providing collaboration tooling and business intelligence to all programs within the Business Area. The individual in this role will provide O&M, new capability integration and development, and continuous improvement through collaboration with other Leidos entities, program and business needs, and partner integrations. Key areas of responsibility include Microsoft Power Platform/BI reporting, Salesforce products, AI and automation toolsets, and relationships across Leidos teams such as the CIO, Finance, and HR.

This exciting opportunity is focused on Leidos business operations but also requires some service delivery directly to external customers. The Collaboration & Data Services Manager will drive improved business outcomes, grow data analytics services, and define/drive repeatable offerings that can be leveraged outside of the Navy Marine Corps Team.

This role involves communicating with all levels of management, both Leidos and Government, as needed in order to drive the development of new reports, dashboards, and software tools. The role requires an understanding of data management and software development principles and must effectively interact with cross-functional teams in order to manage data and provide effective collaboration capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities

Manage a team of developers who maintain the Navy Marine Corps and SMIT business intelligence products and data management/collaboration tools and environments.Provide regular updates to Leidos leadership regarding development projects.Effectively lead teams to prioritize and manage an Agile pipeline of enhancements and new capabilities.Utilize technical knowledge (databases, software development, etc.) to define solutions for stakeholder needs.Engage with Leidos and Government stakeholders to identify requirements and drive the development of new solutions.Show positive ROI with increasing value for services provided to stakeholders and enhance offerings to include data analytic and data science capability.Oversee new Salesforce and AI development projectsCollaborate with vendors and CIO to address needs of the business and deploy repeatable offerings in conjunction with Digital Modernization goals and objectives.Develop and implement plans for the SMIT program’s data management strategy.Establish best practices for report creation and data management to ensure reports delivered are accurate, functional, and scalable.Effectively work with a cross-functional team of software developers, engineers, data scientists, financial analysts, managers, and others in order to develop reports, products, and dashboards.Identify and implement process improvements as needed in order to improve the efficiency of the development process and the program’s data management strategy as a whole.Lead strategic planning and special projects with Leidos stakeholders to define, solution, and deploy new capability needsConsult on the development of new reports and products through a technical, statistical, and ethical viewpoint.Maintain awareness of new technologies and industry trends and identify potential new tools for the business to use.

Basic Qualifications

BA/BS or equivalent experience and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience4+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projectsKnowledge of database management principles, software development, and operations & maintenance experienceExperience leading database structure and systems engineering/architecture effortsExperience in data management and BI tooling including managing MS products such as Power Platform, Salesforce, automation products, and AI capabilities.Strong communication and organizational skillsExperience leading and managing teamsAbility to interact with stakeholders at all levels (within Leidos and Government)Ability to think creatively and develop new solutions to problemsAbility to obtain Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree in Information Technology, Business (MBA), Systems Engineering, or related topicExperience as a solution architectPrevious experience with, and knowledge, of Leidos internal systems, data sources, tools, policies, practice areas, and offeringsKnowledge of Python and RKnowledge of basic statistical analysis methodsPrior experience supporting Department of the Navy/Department of Defense programsExisting Secret Clearance

Pay Range:Pay Range $108,550.00 - $196,225.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
