Job Overview:

Linde Gases U.S. is currently seeking a Production Technician in Dodge City, KS. The production technician is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, reliable, and efficient operating plant.

Primary Responsibilities:

Must have a positive attitude.Must be able and willing to work in a team environment and be respectful of others.Must have strong problem-solving skills.Must have an interest and willingness to learn new skills.Must have a ‘Can-Do’ customer focus attitude. Must have a willingness to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.Must be able to adapt to times where work priorities change quickly.Must have a working knowledge of computers and basic computer programs.Ability to work at times outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to work at heights to load railcars and other random assignments.Ability to effectively communicate verbally, writing, email, text messages. Ability to operate machinery to manufacture a quality product safely.Ability to monitor process equipment or machinery performance and when needed make appropriate adjustments to correct deviations.Ability to use manuals, drawings, electrical schematics to install, operate, and maintain equipment. Ability to safely troubleshoot, repair, and maintain machinery such as compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, and valves.Ability to install, operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate electrical equipment.

Trade School, apprenticeship, or a trade’s related associates degree preferred.3 or more years production operations experience in an industrial environment.
