Job Description
Our client is a manufacturer of custom sheet metal products. They are looking for CNC Turret Punch Press Programmer, also to program laser and brake machines.
Location: Richmond Hill, ON
Shift-3pm to 1:30am M-T, Day shift-6am to 3pm M-F.
Pay Range: $18.00- $30.00 (Based on Experience)
Essential Functions:
Read drawings and instructions Select material move it with a forklift punch parts to the correct tolerance Maintain quality of parts throughout production Equipment maintenance Maintain a safe working environmentRequirements
Qualifications:.
Extensive knowledge and experience working with CNC turret punch presses (Strippit Global and Amada) Experience working to close tolerances Fork lift operation experience helpful Knowledge of other metal fabricating operations such as hardware insertion, shearing also an asset Blueprint reading Working with precision measuring tools (Vernier calipers, protractor, tape measure) Strong communication skills Ability to work in a team environment Solid knowledge of light gauge fabrication techniques and equipment. Previous shear experience
Temp to Permanent hire after 3 months.
