**Hiring CNC Setup Machinist in Poughkeepsie, NY** **Job Description** We are looking for an experienced CNC Setup Machinist with expertise in operating and setting up Lathe and Milling machines. The ideal candidate should have a strong ability to work with tight tolerances and interpret blueprints and GD&T. This role involves working with both 3 and 4 axis lathes and milling machines, with experience in 5 axis being a plus. **Responsibilities** + Operate and setup Lathe and Milling machines. + Interpret blueprints and shop layouts per company specifications. + Utilize inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gages to perform minor quality checks. + Document results accurately. + Work with extremely tight tolerances, particularly with GD&T metrics. **Why Work Here?** Join a dedicated team of approximately 30 CNC Operators in a supportive and collaborative environment.
