CNC Programmer Job Number: 354590 Category: -MFG & Supply Chain SBU Description: Job Title: CNC Programmer Location: Fort Worth, TX 76101 Area Code: 817, 682 Pay Rate: $45.00-$60.00 per hour Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite Shift: 1st Job Summary: We are seeking a CNC Programmer with expertise in model-based manufacturing to optimize machining processes and part fabrication. This role focuses on programming and validating CNC operations for metallic and composite components used in drives, airframes, rotors, and critical aerospace systems. Your contributions will improve dimensional accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with engineering standards. Key Responsibilities: * CNC Programming & Validation: o Develop, optimize, and validate CNC machining programs to meet engineering specifications. o Use VERICUT and DELMIA to simulate toolpaths and detect/prevent errors before production. * Technical Interpretation: o Analyze and interpret engineering models, drawings, BOMs, technical specs, and GD&T to create accurate CNC programs. * Collaboration with Design & Production Teams: o Work closely with design engineers to define part specifications and machining requirements. o Ensure machining programs align with production schedules and quality standards. * Machine Setup & Testing: o Perform initial machining runs, troubleshoot issues, and optimize programs for efficiency and part quality. o Conduct post-machining inspections to verify dimensional accuracy and resolve discrepancies. * Process Optimization: o Continuously improve machining processes and ensure compliance with aerospace tolerances. o Provide technical input on manufacturing strategies and material handling for metallic and composite components. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor"s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent CNC programming experience. * Proficiency in CAM software CATIA & DELMIA. * Hands-on experience using VERICUT for CNC program validation and simulation. * Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and aerospace tolerances. * Excellent verbal and written communication for cross-functional collaboration. * US Citizenship required due to the nature of the work. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with 5-7 axis CNC programming for complex aerospace components. * Familiarity with advanced composite machining and material handling techniques. * Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing systems and industry standards. * Experience with Digital Manufacturing tools such as Dassault DELMIA / 3DExperience.
