Description

The CNC Programmer works within the engineering department to create CNC programs to machine high-tolerance aerospace parts and machining tools. Some machines in shop include 3, 4 & 5-axis mills, one lathe, laser, water jet and sheet router.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

- Create and maintain CNC mill and lathe programs: write program, post/translate to G-code, setup sheets, tool lists, etc.

- Interpret part requirements by reviewing customer specs and engineering drawings

- Create and maintain process documentation including setup sheets and work instructions (As9100 Rev. D system)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must Haves:

- 5+ years of Mastercam programming (8+ years ideal)

- High attention to detail including revision control and documentation management

- Ability to perform machine set-ups and \"proof\" out program is highly desired

Nice to Haves:

- 5-axis programming

- Ability to set-up machines to validate programming and troubleshoot as needed

- AS9100 experience, including working within the Rev. D system (documentation/revision control)

- Direct aerospace experience including working with tight tolerances

- Ability to mentor more junior programmers

The pay range for this position is $86000.00 - $100000.00
