**Job Title: CNC Operator** **Job Description** The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components according to technical specifications. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of CNC machining processes, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to precision and safety. **Key Responsibilities:** + Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and routers. + Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machining instructions. + Load and unload materials and tooling, ensuring correct alignment and secure setup. + Perform precise machining tasks to achieve specified tolerances and dimensions. + Conduct routine inspections of workpieces and machinery to ensure accuracy and quality. + Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines, tooling, and materials. + Perform regular maintenance on machines and keep work area clean and organized. + Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. + Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. **Requirements:** + Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong understanding of machining processes. + Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including setup and programming. + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. + Strong knowledge of measuring instruments and quality control techniques. + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Familiarity with safety protocols and machinery maintenance practices. + Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. + Relevant technical certification or training in CNC machining is preferred. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with various types of CNC machines and control systems (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, etc.). + Knowledge of CAD/CAM software for programming and toolpath generation. + Ability to work with a variety of materials, including metals, plastics, and composites. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
