PCC Airfoils – SMP manufactures military and commercial turbine blades and vanes for aircraft and land-based applications. Super Alloys composed primarily of nickel and cobalt are used to cast the blades and vanes for gas turbine engines.

CNC MACHINIST NEEDED!

 

The schedule for this role is 3:00am-3:00pm.  The CNC position works on an “Off Work Week” schedule which is highly sought after as a stable rotating biweekly schedule. Volunteer overtime opportunities are available!

            RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

            Duties Include but not limited to:

 

Operation of ALL CNC equipment. (Saws, Mills, Grinder, OKUMA’s)Snag: impact, grinding, and T.E. Cutback Machine.Data Collection as defined by procedures.Gaging castingsMeet an acceptable level of the specific requirements of the efficiency standards.Keep work area in a clean, orderly, and safe working condition.Perform other duties that are assigned by the Supervisor.Follow all safety rules.

 

 

            QUALIFICATIONS:

         

High School degree or equivalent required; machinist trade school certificate a plusMust be able to lift a minimum of 35lbs. and stand for long periods of time.Pass annual vision screeningMust show ability to follow detailed procedures reliablyBe able to meet daily production goalsAbility to work in a team environmentDemonstrate proficiency of applicable procedure instructions
