**Job Title: CNC Machinist** **Job Description** The individual in this role will be responsible for setting up and running their own machines, mills, and lathes. You can expect to perform 3-4 setups per day, handling low volume runs of 25 parts or less, as well as prototype parts for the engineering team. The role involves running lathes with Fanuc controls, utilizing 3 lathes and 3 mills for various tasks. **Responsibilities** + Set up and run CNC machines, mills, and lathes. + Perform 3-4 setups per day. + Handle low volume runs of 25 parts or less. + Create prototype parts for the engineering team. + Perform tool changes and machine setups. + Inspect parts using blueprints, calipers, and gages. **Essential Skills** + Experience in CNC Mill setup or CNC Lathe setup. + Proficiency in using calipers and gages for inspections. + 3+ years of CNC setup experience. + 2-year CNC degree or certificate. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with manual mills or lathes. + Experience with CNC machining. + Ability to work with blueprints and perform inspections. **Why Work Here?** We offer full benefits upon hire, starting with 2 weeks of PTO, a 6%+ 401K match, and continued school reimbursement. It is climate controlled and has a smaller, more intimate team. The department includes 3 mills and 3 turning centers, all Mori Sieki, with a total of 13 people. We are hiring for both 1st and 2nd shifts. If you choose the 2nd shift, you will train on the 1st shift for the first few weeks. The 2nd shift includes a 10% differential. The 1st shift runs from 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, while the 2nd shift runs from 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM, Monday - Thursday, with overtime offered on Fridays. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shoreview, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $31.00/hr.
