**Job Title: CNC Programmer / Machinist**
**Job Description**
Local manufacturing company who specializes in the improvement and creation of pressure, temperature, force, and measurement level components is seeking a motivated candidate to join their machine shop. The candidate being sought should have experience in CNC Machining with both hand-on and knowledge of CNC mills and CNC lathes - a plus for an interested candidate would be having experience in programming of CNCs (basic or intermediate) and preferably utilizing CAD/CAM technologies. The experience in programming is NOT required for this role - however, an interested candidate will be trained in this aspect of the position over the course of their tenure upon hire.
The facility is brand-new as of 2024 in a newly constructed manufacturing facility in Lewis Center, OH - machinery from the previous location near Worthington, OH has been brought over and new equipment has been added/installed as well. Pay: $24 - 27/hour (depending upon programming experience within CNC Machining)

**Responsibilities**
+ Interpret drawings to write basic programs using CAD/CAM technologies for CNC machines that calculate cutting speeds and feeds to generate quality parts in accordance with production standards.
+ Monitor and verify the accuracy of each new job’s initial set-up and final outcome.
+ Assist in the solution of complex CNC operating problems.
+ Communicate with the supervisor to resolve machining or quality issues.
+ Troubleshoot out-of-tolerance parts to help determine the correct manufacturing process.
+ Train new employees on set-up and procedures.
+ Help fill in operating machines when others are out.
+ Perform ancillary duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ High School or equivalent education.
+ Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.
+ Basic knowledge of CNC Programming.
+ Advanced knowledge of precision measuring instruments including calibers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, and tape measures.
+ Advanced knowledge of reading drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerance and dimensions.
+ Working knowledge of various tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, and inserts used on various machines.
+ Knowledge and understanding of how CNC machines work.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $29.00/yr.
