Essential Duties

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

● Fabrication of machined components using CNC mills, CNC lathes, and other precision

equipment

● Programming of CNC mills and lathes

● Selection of the optimal tooling, feed rates, and paths to minimize manufacturing costs and ensure quality

● Read and interpret technical drawings, data sheets, and specifications

● Use calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauges, and other instruments for precise measurements

● Turn rolls and shafts on large swing CNC lathes

● Machine setup, operation, and maintenance; upkeep of the work area in a clean and safe order

● Handle heavy, large, or awkward parts manually or with material handling equipment

● Enter raw material consumption, machine utilization, and labor in the CMMS/ERP software

● Perform other duties as assigned
