Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

Set-up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, turning, grinding, and milling. Accept and reject First Article Inspections, identify non-conformances, and correct dimensions as needed. This role requires strong experience with tolerances and the use of precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gages. Additionally, you will be responsible for CNC set-up, CNC troubleshooting, and editing CNC programs using M-Codes and G-Codes. Monitoring tooling and experience working with stainless steel and aluminum are also essential.

The pay range for this position is $37440.00 - $58240.00/yr.

Effective on your date of hire, you will begin accruing paid time off (PTO) at the rate of 1.333 hours per month (0.615 hours per pay period) for an annual accrued total of 16 hours (2 days). Effective on your first anniversary, you will begin accruing PTO at the rate of 8.0 hours per month (3.692 hours per pay period) for an annual accrual total of 96 hours (12 days). A copy of the PTO policy will be included in your new hire packet.

On the first of the month, following 30-days of employment, you will be eligible to participate in our Health, Vision and Dental benefit plans and you will be automatically enrolled in a $25,000 life insurance policy, short-term disability (STD) & long-term disability (LTD) insurance plans paid for by the Company. As your date for eligibility in our health benefits package nears, complete details of these programs will be provided to you.

DMC Power celebrates seven (7) paid holidays per year. A list of these holidays will be provided to you during your new hire orientation.

After ninety (90) days of employment, you will be eligible to participate in DMC Power’s 401k retirement plan. The administrator of our 401k plan will send notification to your home address. If you do not wish to participate and want to opt-out, you must indicate this. If not, you will be automatically enrolled with a 3% salary contribution per paycheck.
Additionally, after ninety (90) days of employment, you will be eligible to participate in DMC Power’s Monthly Operations Bonus Program.
