Seeking CNC Machinists in KCMO

Job Description

This well-established organization is currently seeking a CNC Machinist with mill and/or lathe machining experience. This position requires a high level of attention to detail as it involves making short production runs of tightly tolerance parts.

ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes.Troubleshoot and edit programs as necessary.Perform short production runs with tight tolerances.Work with metals such as aluminum.Understand and apply knowledge of G-Code and M-Code.Essential Skills1-3+ years of experience setting up and running CNC mills and/or lathes.Ability to troubleshoot and edit CNC programs.Experience working with metals such as aluminum.Knowledge of G-Code and M-Code.Additional Skills & QualificationsVersatility in handling various tasks in a job shop environment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is climate-controlled and uniquely located inside a cave. The shift is Monday through Thursday, with half-days on Friday from 6am-4:30pm. The dress code is casual, allowing for jeans and polo shirts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of KANSAS CITY, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.88 - $30.65/hr.
