Job Description:

Location: Seymour, Connecticut

CoWorx Staffing Services is seeking experienced CNC Machine Operators for a local Manufacturing Company within Seymour, CT.

Responsibilities:

Looking for someone with basic CNC machine operation experience, read blueprints and complete inspection sheets using inspection hand tools (calipers, veneers, and thread gauges, etc.)
Operate CNC Lathe Machines to fabricate production parts.
Essential Job Functions
· Operates CNC lathe machines.
· Make appropriate offsets and adjust tools.
· Read and interpret blueprints as needed.
· Properly use calipers, veneers, and thread gauges.
· Properly and safely load and unload machines.
· Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machines.
· Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
· Utilize and abide by all safety procedures.
· Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.

· Attention to detail with precision equipment and products
· Ability to perform basic mathematical computations
· Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Education and Experience
· High school diploma or GED required. State Apprentice Program Certification in CNC a plus
· 1-3 years operating experience in CNC lathe machining.
· Ability to hold tight tolerances.

Temp to Hire Opportunity.
M-F 6:00am-2:30pm or 7:00am-3:30pm, possible OT on Saturdays
Payrate $18.00 – $20.00
