Volt is immediately hiring for CNC Machine Leads for a company located in Costa Mesa, CA.

As an CNC Machine Lead you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tLeadership and Coordination: Monitors manufacturing operations within the CNC machine area, leading and coordinating the activities of the team.\r\n\tMachine Operation: Sets up and operates CNC machines and other related equipment efficiently.\r\n\tResource Management: Manages requests for tool and supply purchases. Monitors usage on the floor to prevent waste.\r\n\tProblem Resolution: Reviews general machine shop-related issues with management, engineering, and programming. Provides clear and concise feedback to resolve problems effectively.\r\n\tTraining: Trains operators on how to effectively, efficiently, and safely set up and operate shop equipment, including but not limited to CNC machines, cranes, hand tools/power tools, and measuring equipment.\r\n\tPerformance Management: Reads, interprets, and evaluates employee performance via production-related reports. Monitors and takes initiative based on data such as quality reports, key performance indicators, and safety data to enforce peak performance.\r\n\tCompliance and Safety: Ensures strict adherence to company rules, policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full time opportunity. 5 days a week. 8+ hours per day.

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will be:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tProficient in CNC machine setup and operation.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Schedule: 6am to 230pm

\r\n\r\n

Days: Monday-Friday

\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: $29-$37 per hour

\r\n\r\n

The ideal candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAbility to use standard precision measuring instruments to check linear, angular and configuration of raw, in-process, and completed parts to tolerances of .0001\"\r\n\tAbility to read and interpret blueprints and work specifications\r\n\tKnowledge of machine shop and inspection practices\r\n\r\n\r\n
