The Nursing Assistant – Associate is the entry point for the Providence Nursing Assistant Apprenticeship Program.  The program provides training and support for individuals with no, or very little, direct healthcare experience.  The successful applicant is provided an educational program that prepares the Nursing Assistant – Associate for state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Start date: March 31st, 2025

Full time 36-40 hours weekly (may include weekends)

Required qualifications:

Within 30 days of hire: Provider BLS - American Heart Association No direct healthcare or patient care experience required.  This is an entry level position that will provide the education and experiences necessary to become a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Alaska.
