**Job Title: CMM Programmer**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in programming and operating Portable Romer Arms using PC-DMIS software versions 2019 (or later) and Verisurf 2018 (or newer). The role involves verifying engineering data requirements, performing surface plate inspections, conducting visual and dimensional inspections, and performing First Article Inspection in accordance with AS9102 standards. Additionally, the candidate will train others on proper blueprint reading techniques and the use of Portable Arm.
**Responsibilities**
+ Program and operate Portable Romer Arms using PC-DMIS software versions 2019 (or later) and Verisurf 2018 (or newer).
+ Operate the Romer Arm to verify engineering data requirements for measurements and characteristics from complex parts and assemblies.
+ Perform Surface Plate inspections using a variety of hand measurement instruments.
+ Conduct visual and dimensional inspections supporting in-process, final, and receiving inspection operations to verify that parts meet dimensional customer engineering requirements.
+ Perform First Article Inspection in accordance with AS9102 to complete FORM 3.
+ Occasionally use Portable Romer Arm to perform First Article Inspection on the machine shop floor and provide data to Supervisor/Manager and/or engineers for assessment and material disposition.
+ Train others on proper blueprint reading techniques, appropriate use of gauges, and the use of Portable Arm.

**Work Environment**
The role involves working in the CMM room with 4 to 5 team members and going on the production floor 2 days a week to assist in production as needed.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Beach, California.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $36.00/hr.
