**Job Title: CMM Operator/Inspector** **Job Description** A small machine shop in Plano is seeking an experienced CMM operator. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience running CMM machines, with strong inspection skills and proficiency in using all dimensional measuring tools. Experience with Mitutoyo brand equipment is required. **Responsibilities** + Operate and inspect components using Manual CMM (Mitutoyo with Geopack 3000 software) and Sharp CNC CMM with PC-DIMIS language. + Interpret and make program adjustments on PC-DIMIS in offline mode. + Utilize basic precision quality measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. + Inspect a variety of components ranging from single quantities to hundreds each month. + Ensure components meet typical tolerances from 0.0005" up to 0.005". + Maintain and adhere to strict documentation and procedures. **Essential Skills** + Minimum 5 years of experience running CMM machines. + Experience with Mitutoyo brand equipment. + Ability to interpret and make program adjustments on PC-DIMIS in offline mode. + Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. + Experience with tight tolerance inspection. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with Geopack 3000 software. + Ability to fully program with PC-DIMIS. + Familiarity with making defense products. + Proficiency with documentation practices. **Why Work Here?** This is a temp-to-hire position in a small, family-owned company with flexibility in working hours.
