As an Event Manager at The Cliffs you will plan, organize, and execute club social and dining events, private events, as well as supporting food & beverage. You will work side by side with the Executive Chef, Director of Golf, Member Services, and the Director of Food & Beverage. QUALIFICATIONS: Planning for Success + Serves as the club’s social and dining events expert. + Actively participates in the development of the club’s annual social, dining and golf events calendar. + Conducts tours of club event spaces for private member events as well as perspective outside clients. + Performs all private event administrative duties including contracts, deposits, banquet event orders, guarantees, cancellations, billings, and final payments. + Creates, maintains, and updates event BEOs. + Participates in scheduled staff and management meetings. + Actively supports the execution of a la carte dining operations, including supervisory coverage during hours of service. + Minimum of two years of Food & Beverage Management and/or Catering Sales/Event Planning experience; fine dining/country club preferred. + Sense of urgency and self-motivation + Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines + Directly related degree preferred.
