As an IT Cloud Solutions and Vendor Manager, you will play a critical role in our organization’s digital transformation journey. You’ll be responsible for overseeing our cloud solutions, optimizing vendor partnerships, and ensuring seamless collaboration. Your expertise will drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and operational excellence.
Job ResponsibilitiesCloud Solutions Management:
Evaluate, select, and implement cloud solutions that align with our business goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure. Monitor performance, security, and scalability of cloud services.Vendor Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain successful relationships with our vendor network. Negotiate contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), and pricing terms. Ensure vendors meet performance expectations throughout the relationship.Vendor Onboarding and Offboarding:
Lead the onboarding process for new vendors. Facilitate smooth transitions during vendor offboarding.Cost Optimization and Budget Management:
Analyze vendor costs and identify opportunities for savings. Create and manage budgets related to cloud solutions and vendor services.Risk Mitigation and Compliance:
Assess vendor risks and implement risk mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. People Specification Proven experience in cloud solutions architecture, implementation, and management. Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Essential Qualification - NQF level Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field. Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus. Minimum Experience Level10+ years IT experience as a vendor manager and experience of working on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
