As a QA Automation Engineer with a focus on cloud technologies, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests across cloud environments, ensuring the quality of our software products. You will be an integral part of our development teams, working closely with both cloud engineers and product teams to identify automation opportunities, improve test coverage, and support our CICD and Devops pipeline.
 

Key Responsibilities:

   Proven experience in QA automation testing and software development. Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, Shell script) Test Automation Frameworks: Design, build, and maintain robust test automation frameworks tailored to cloud-based applications, using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. Cloud Infrastructure Integration: Leverage cloud-native tools and services to enable automated tests, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.  CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Automate testing processes as part of CICD pipelines to enable faster delivery of software. Work with tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI ensure tests are automatically triggered. API Testing: Develop and execute automated API tests for cloud applications, ensuring their functionality, scalability, and performance using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or JMeter. Monitoring and Reporting: Continuously monitor automated test results, identify failure patterns, and work with developers and cloud engineers to resolve issues quickly. Collaboration with DevOps and Cloud Engineers: Collaborate with DevOps and cloud engineering teams to enhance the test automation strategy, address deployment and scaling challenges, and ensure the infrastructure is optimized for automated testing. Documentation and Reporting: Ensure detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports. Provide clear feedback and insights to product teams, ensuring transparency in test coverage and software quality.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Creative, Team-oriented, Quick Learner with a drive to produce results. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.  B.E / M.E / B.Tech in CS or equivalent or MCA from reputed universities with consistently good academic record with 3+ years of experience in Test automation development Proven experience in QA Automation testing, with expertise in developing automated tests for complex and integrated end to end systems. Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, Go). Hands-on experience with cloud-native automation tools (e.g., OCI SDK, Terraform, CICD Pipelines). Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution (using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar) Expertise in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright for UI testing. In-depth knowledge of API testing and integration testing using tools like Postman & RestAssured. Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, GO) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) for automated testing in a cloud environment. Cloud-Native Performance Testing is a plus
