We are actively seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Cloud Engineer Intern to join our Cloud Solutions and Enablement team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and work alongside experienced cloud engineers to build and support a platform-based service environment designed to accelerate adoption and delivery of cloud-native solutions across the organization, safely and at scale. This internship offers hands-on experience in cloud computing, infrastructure as code, automation, CI/CD processes, and agile methodologies. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, eager to collaborate across teams, and passionate about cloud technology, problem-solving, and continuous learning.

 What you’ll be doing... 

Assist in evaluating requirements and supporting the deployment of cloud-based solutions that meet organizational needs.  Learn to build, maintain, and support platform-based solutions that enable teams to deploy both existing and new cloud-based services rapidly, safely, and at scale. Help integrate, monitor, and support 3rd party platforms such as Atlassian, GitHub, and DataDog. Participate in developing and maintaining governance processes for applications targeting cloud deployment, including standards for monitoring, threat management, and data protection. Support teams in cloud onboarding, design, implementation, and management of cloud environments. Contribute to the development and maintenance of shared Terraform modules, GitHub workflows, and reference architectures. Participate in developing and maintaining governance processes for applications targeting cloud deployment, including standards for monitoring, threat management, and data protection.  Learn and assist in the design and implementation of on-premises to cloud-based migrations. Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing and assist in recommending improvements to organizational performance. Assist in the development and maintenance of documentation for cloud infrastructure and applications. 

What you’ll bring to us… 

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Basic understanding of AWS cloud services and cloud computing concepts. Familiarity with core AWS Services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudFront is a plus. Basic knowledge of scripting and programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js. Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform is a plus. Understanding of CI/CD workflows and version control systems like GitHub. Hands-on experience with version control systems, especially Git, including branching, merging, and pull requests Interest in learning about cloud security, networking, and storage solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies. Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
