Cloud Network Engineer

**CTG is seeking to fill a remote Cloud Network Engineer opening for our client in South Carolina.**
**Location:** Remote
**Duration:** 10 months
**Duties:**
+ Design and implement robust and scalable cloud architecture on AWS platform.
+ Develop and deploy infrastructure using Terraform and Python to automate cloud resource management.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud solutions align with business needs.
+ Provide technical expertise and guidance on cloud architecture, networking, and security best practices.
+ Implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud-based applications.
+ Develop and enforce cloud management standards and best practices.
+ Oversee and manage CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications.
+ Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on cloud architecture and network infrastructure.
+ Ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI, and SCADA.
+ Participate in network engineering and architecture for cloud networking, including GCP and AWS integrations.
+ Support incident management and troubleshooting for cloud-based infrastructure.
+ Engage in project management activities to ensure timely delivery of cloud-related initiatives.

+ Network Engineering and Architecture (MPLS, Ethernet, WIFI)
+ Cloud Management (AWS, GCP)
+ OKTA and Identity Access Management (IAM)
+ HIPAA, PCI compliance, SCADA
+ Disaster Planning and Recovery
+ Strong experience in cloud networking, AWS cloud solutions, and cloud security
+ Familiarity with cloud deployment, monitoring, and management tools
+ Excellent documentation skills, especially in cloud architecture and network design
+ Strong knowledge of standards definition for cloud environments
**Experience:**
+ Proven experience in designing and implementing AWS-based solutions, including cloud infrastructure and networking.
+ Strong programming skills, especially with Terraform and Python, for automating cloud resource deployment.
+ Previous experience working with cloud-native architectures, particularly in AWS, and implementing cloud management solutions.
+ Hands-on experience with enterprise-level network architecture and security compliance.
+ Prior experience with cloud management and services in an enterprise setting.
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
+ Relevant certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Terraform Certified, etc.) are a plus.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $113,000 to $130,000 annually. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefits package is also offered.
