Barbaricum is seeking a Cloud Migration Engineer to support migrating customer platforms to the AWS Cloud. This role will be hybrid, based out of Fort Meade. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.ResponsibilitiesLead the migration of critical customer platforms from on-premises environments to the AWS cloud.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement secure and scalable infrastructure solutions using Terraform and Python.Oversee Kubernetes management and ensure optimal performance in multi-account, multi-role cloud environments.Implement automated system patching, security updates, and CI/CD pipelines.Independently deliver mission outcomes and interact with customers with minimal supervision.Provide troubleshooting and resolution for cloud-related technical issues.QualificationsActive DoD Top Secret SCI ClearanceHands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and platform migration to AWSProficiency in Terraform and Python scriptingKnowledge of Kubernetes management and cloud operating environmentsFamiliarity with Gitlab for CI/CD pipelinesKnowledge of AWS services and experience developing technical solutionsAWS Associate Certification or willingness to obtain within 6 monthsWork location split between AWS offices (NBP), customer site, and teleworkAdditional Information
