What you would do as our Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
You would play a crucial part in a professional, service-oriented team. You will collaborate closely with our internal customers and stakeholders to design, develop, maintain, and analyse our Enterprise Cloud Architecture. The position requires occasional travel across the EMEIA region. While most shifts occur during standard Monday to Friday office hours, you will be expected to work on weekends approximately once a month.
You would also:
Oversee the deployment, security, and availability of customer-facing SaaS cloud infrastructure, including related reporting. Create high quality IT Technical documentation. Engage in activities to optimize cloud infrastructure performance and costs. Coordinate the implementation and modification of solution architecture activities. Provide consulting services for application or infrastructure development projects to ensure alignment with the existing architecture. This includes identifying when modifications to the solution architecture are necessary to meet project requirements.The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
Extensive experience with the AWS platform. Moderate experience or willingness to gain experience with the Azure platform along with an understanding and ability to advocate and augment information technology strategies. Broad experience in infrastructure change management and cloud security Knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server and Linux Server (preferably Redhat and Ubuntu) The ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You are a driven individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and consistently delivers on deadlines.
Ideally, you would have experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), orchestration tools, and experience with cloud platforms beyond AWS and Azure, as well as certifications related to ITIL, security, SQL, or networking.
