The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. With its more than 1400 professionals, SAP Labs Bulgaria also has strong contributions toward life-cycle management, user interface & user experience across the broader portfolio of SAP products and has recently welcomed new teams focusing on business applications. Our team and the solutions of SAP HANA Database & Analytics (SAP databases, data warehousing, planning & analytics) make a real impact on the world of business, helping the biggest companies rethink how they run. As the amount of data increases, SAP customers continue to benefit from more flexible solutions to manage their data assets.

 

What you'll do:

 

Design and architect cloud-native applications and micro-services, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for cloud-based applications, focusing on reusability and optimized performance. Develop and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and stability. Develop APIs and services that integrate seamlessly with cloud infrastructure and other applications. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers, ensuring code quality and best practices are maintained. Drive innovation by researching and adopting new cloud technologies and design patterns.

 

What you bring:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in cloud development or a similar role. Strong programming skills in Java, Go, and Python, with a focus on writing clean, maintainable code. Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, with hands-on experience in deploying and managing cloud infrastructure. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with micro-services and cloud native architectures Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud-based applications and systems. A passion for continuous learning and staying current with evolving cloud technologies.
