Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
The Cloud Solutions Engineer will work with the team on transferring and operationalizing the Several IPs into cloud environments (e.g.; Azure/ GCP). You will work with the Cloud Architecture team to further cloud implementation of a microservices / cloud native architecture within the financial service industry. You will help develop and test cloud platform services and tooling across development and production environments. You will contribute to the evolution of our cloud CI/CD infrastructure & processes that ensure daily orchestration services and lifecycle automation are highly available.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:Must Have Skills:
• Computer Science; Software Engineering; or IT/Telecommunications Engineering degree [or equivalent work experience] with 10+ years cloud experience.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code scripts using tools such as Terraforms.
• Experience with implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated infrastructure deployments.
• Oversee cloud operations to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying containers utilizing the following tools: Kubernetes; Docker; and Helm (or other OCI compliant container technologies)
• Proficient in Kubernetes Service (AKS) with familiarity for other such as (EKS; GKS; Tanzu; or OpenShift)
• Ability to build; design and maintain cloud-based automation/pipelines within public cloud providers
• Hands-on- experience and experience in architecting various types of applications and architectures that focusses on optimizing the technical workloads and payloads..
• Experience with DevOps tool chains and processes
• Proficient with operating scripting languages like Windows PowerShell; Bash; Python; Ruby; etc.
• Proficient in infrastructure development and administration
• Proficient using infrastructure as code and configuration management tools for automation like Puppet; Ansible; etc.
• Must have effective team collaboration and communication skills.
• Practical hands-on expertise in operating in administrative capacities on Windows and Linux environments
• Highly agile with ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and change
• Hands On experience of a range services from any Cloud Platform including Infrastructure and Security related services such as PAAS; IaaS; Containers; Storage; Networking and Security
• Deep understanding of modern architectural patterns; including micro services and message-driven architectures
• Experience in End-to-End cost monitoring; usage monitoring; and cost forecasting. Technologies
