D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Closing Supervising Team Lead for their Financial Services Department. This position will support Closing Manager by monitoring pipeline for the Closing team. Responds to questions from the Closers and ensures policies and procedures are followed. Designated point of contact for the branches directly served. These duties will be in addition to closing mortgage loans as needed and providing a high level of customer service.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Assists Closers with questions Assists Closing Manager and Assistant Manager in identifying training needsMonitors and trains team to maintain acceptable QC scoreAssists with onboarding and training new employees as neededAssists with test case reviews prior to releasing new employees to their own pipeline as neededCloses employee loans as neededReviews and approves POA’s as neededReviews and approves Trust Agreements as neededSupport Assistant Closing Manger to make sure loans fund in a timely mannerBack-up for Assistant Closing Manager when neededAssigns files in an even and timely mannerWork with Assistant Closing Manager on pipeline managementAssists with outstanding Post-Closing and suspense issues as neededReconciles outstanding servicing needsConducts department self-audits as deemed necessaryBack-up for Closers (volume, unexpected absence, overflow, etc.)Bond Specialist – training and assisting Closers on the nuances of each bond programMCC Specialist – training, assisting, and ensure certificates are issuedMonitor weekly MCC Tracking report and act as the primary contact for Bond and MCC related issuesSupervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises two or more employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.D.R.
