JOB SUMMARY

The Closing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales function by performing administrative tasks related to sales contracts processing and closing. To include, working with personnel at the community and homebuyers to assist in preparation of closing documents and contracts.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Input sales contracts, addendums, and change orders into computer software for tracking.

Verify the accuracy and completeness of all contracts and change orders submitted. Verify approval signatures.

Maintain files for and distribute contracts and change orders.

Maintain the problem log for contracts with discrepancies.

Assist buyers with mortgage loans and work closely with title company to schedule closing and resolve issues to facilitate closing.

Coordinate with Construction and Sales departments the scheduling of all requirements for a timely walk and close.

Make weekly earnest money deposits and track/report all received earnest money deposits (electronic and paper).

Code invoices for utility bills and coordinate transfer of services at home closing.

Inventory office supplies. Place orders through Staples along with special orders from various departments.

Ensure copy rooms and mail room are neat and clean.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Related Functional Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years in Contracts or Closing experience preferably in the homebuilding industry

Knowledge of accounting principles, contract laws, and Microsoft Office software

Ability to prioritize, meet strict deadlines, and communicate and write effectively

PAY INFORMATION
$26.00 - $32.00 hourly

Hired applicant will be eligible to receive bonuses and earn overtime

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF BENEFITS

In addition to up to 9 paid company holidays per year, employees are eligible for up to 6 days of sick pay. Moreover, eligible employees with less than 10 years of service can accrue up to 17 PTO days per year (and up to 22 PTO days per year upon 10 or more years of service).
