The Youth, Permanency and Safety Division has an opportunity to clinically support youth and families within the field of child welfare. These positions have great impact in assuring youth receive the appropriate level of treatment and families have the support needed to maintain youth within their community. Clinician opportunities: *QI (Qualified Individual) Clinician(1) - Conduct assessment through the interviewing of youth, case workers, service providers and care givers to determine the level of treatment needed. Clinician will make recommendations regarding best treatment approaches based on their assessment. This is a statewide position and will report to their nearest DHW location. This position may be eligible for telework after successful completion of probation and necessary training. The Idaho Department of Health & Welfare is a drug-free workplace.  Any applicant offered employment in this position at the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare will be required to pass a pre-employment drug test. In addition, successful candidates will be required to complete a criminal history background investigation. Employment is dependent upon satisfactory results of the investigation.
