Job Description

The Clinical Trial Educator (CTE) will provide information and education on clinical trial inclusion and exclusion criteria to trial coordinators and healthcare providers. The Clinical Trial Educator will provide in-service presentations with the goal of increasing patient enrollment. The CTE works in partnership with CRAs and other field-based medical teams for optimal trial execution, developing tailored recruitment plans. This position also requires the Clinical Trial Educator to work with referring physicians and develop referral networks to support the sites, as well as work with support groups in the therapeutic area.

This is a travel position, CRN is supporting up to 40 sites, with travel expected each month, when not traveling, all other work will be homebased.

This is a travel role that, the position will require a compact license, along with a nurse who is excited to travel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

● Graduate of a school of nursing, B.S. degree in Nursing, approved by the State Agency and/or accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) at the time the program was completed by the applicant.

● Minimum of one-year related clinical research work experience under the direct supervision of a clinical trials primary investigator and minimum of three years work experience as a registered nurse.

● The RN must have a full, active, and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse

● Proficiency with an Electronic Medical Record, taking vital signs, performing phlebotomy blood draws, and performing Point of Care Testing.

● Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills

● Ability to work independently

● Demonstrates initiative, problem solving ability, adaptability, and flexibility

● Clinical skills: documentation of care, medication administration, infection control precautions, assessing patient educational needs, physical assessment, obtaining vital signs, care coordination.

● CLIA/non- CLIA skills

● Sub-Cutaneous Infusion with large volume experience is required

● Immune Globulin administration

● IV experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $80.00/hr.
