Clinical Technician 2 – Interventional Cardiology (ICAR) with Inova Fairfax Medical Campus  

Full-time Days | Shift: Days vary, 6am-6:30pm & 7am – 7:30pm & 9am-9:30pm working a night shift occasionally

Three (3), 12-hr shifts per week | Rotating Weekends & Holidays.

The Interventional Cardiology (ICAR) with renowned Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a dedicated and loyal Clinical Technician to join the team in a full-time capacity!

Clinical Technician Job Responsibilities (to include but not limited to)

Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse. ADLs Blood Draws IV Insertion Catheter / Foley insertion  Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.  Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.

 

Requirements:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: 1 year acute care experience as a Clinical Tech or clinical rotation with an accredited nursing program and/or 2 years of nursing school.  Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds Training:  Must be available for six (6) weeks of paid training, consisting of, Virtual modules Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM On-unit training with department hired into (times TBD) Experience: Prior experience in healthcare, preferred.
