Clinical Technician 2 – Medical Surgical with Inova Fairfax Medical Campus  

Part-time | Days | Shift: Days Vary, 6:00AM – 6:30PM 

Two (2), 12-hr shifts per week | Rotating Weekends & Holidays.

 

The Medical Surgical with renowned Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a dedicated and loyal Clinical Technician 2 to join the team in a part-time capacity! 

Your shifts will be from 6:00AM – 6:30PM with rotating weekends or holidays.

Clinical Technician 2 Job Responsibilities (to include but not limited to)

Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.ADLsBlood DrawsIV InsertionCatheter / Foley insertion Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors. Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.

 

Clinical Technician 2 Requirements:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.Experience: One year of experience in an acute care setting as a clinical technician or successful completion of one acute care clinical rotation in an Accredited RN Program and/or two years of nursing school completedCertification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hireSpecial Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in EnglishTraining:  Must be available for six (6) weeks of paid training, consisting of,Virtual modulesClassroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PMOn-unit training with department hired into (times TBD)
