Clinical Supervisor Nursing, UHS Senior Living at Ideal United Health Services is seeking a Clinical Supervisor Nursing to join our Nursing Admin 05 department at UHS Senior Living at Ideal in Endicott, NY. This position is benefits eligible. Shift: Night Hours per week: 40 Salary range: $43.34 - 65.34 USD per hour, depending on experience. Clinical Supervisor Nursing / Overview Acts on behalf of the Directors of Nursing, Nurse Managers, and hospital administrators in dealing with Nursing and operational issues by facilitating communication and problem-solving and by providing guidance, direction, education, and support to the nursing employees while observing, assessing and evaluation the quality of care provided for patients. Key Responsibilities and Expectations Education/Experience Minimum Required: + A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing + Three (3) years of progressive Nursing experience. Preferred: + Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing + Previous supervisory experience in a hospital setting License/Certification Minimum Required: + Current New York State Registered Nurse License + CPR within 3 months of hire Preferred: + Professional certification in a related nursing specialty (Nursing Administration) + ACLS certification Work Environment + Work is performed in primarily in a mobile manner, with greater than 70% of working hours spent rounding to patient care units and in direct contact with numerous employees, visitors, patients and physicians. Areas are air conditioned and heated. + Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting. + Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions. + PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Hospitals Infection Control policies.
