Clinical Sales Specialist (Rare Disease, Liver) - Permanent - Sacramento/Reno, US

Proclinical is partnered with a biopharmaceutical company who is seeking to hire a Clinical Sales Specialist for a focus on Rare Disease and Liver. This role can be based in Sacramento, Santa Rosa, Concord or Danville in California or in Reno in Nevada.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will provide HCPs with products, services, and information that will enable them to use and prescribe the company's neuroscience portfolio.

While all candidates will be considered, the ideal candidate will have hospital sales, buy and bill, and injectables experience in the Sacramento/Reno territory, and a background in Rare Disease or Specialty Care Gastroenterology or Hepatology. Experience in GI/Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Liver experience is also preferrable.

Skills & Requirements:

Sc. or B.A. degree requiredMinimum five years of experience as a Pharmaceutical Representative, and minimum of two years as a Specialty Care Rep Experience in rare disease GI/Hepatology/Endocrinology is preferredExcellent communication skillsDemonstrated team player and relationship builder

The Clinical Sales Specialist's responsibilities will be:

Engage in in-depth conversations with physicians and other healthcare professionals utilizing multiple data sets across a broad base of approved product indicationsNavigate through complex healthcare organization structures including hospital, academic, and community practice accountsManage your territory in an efficient and orderly manner: key physician/account prioritization, daily call reporting, sample accountabilityDevelop and execute effective business plans

Compensation:

$170,000 to $175,000 per annum
