The Santa Maria Lab is located in the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, at the University of Pittsburgh. We are seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to conduct clinical research in our lab. Our lab is translational in nature and predominantly focused on hearing loss in otolaryngology. Your duties will include assisting with IRB protocol submissions, grant applications, and manuscripts, as well as monitoring study budgets, collecting and analyzing data, and developing and implementing study recruitment. After training, you will work largely independently on a daily basis, with guidance and supervision from research faculty in the lab.
Your work will be central to several major research projects, and co-authorship on high-impact publications is expected. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and comfortable with new technologies. A BS degree or equivalent for Clinical Research Coordinator II, or MS degree or equivalent for Clinical Research Coordinator III, along with previous clinical research experience, is preferred.
