MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To implement, drive and sustain clinical quality within the emergency medical environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS Set, implement and manage operational clinical plans aligned with Emergency Medicine strategy  Oversee clinical performance in the emergency medical environment and provide operational support Provide specialist expertise and support to emergency centres Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

Registered/Professional Nursing qualification

DESIRED EDUCATION

Post graduate qualification within ICU/Trauma 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

Minimum 5 to 10 years clinical experience, of which 3 – 5 should be in a Specialist function/SME-role such as Unit or branch Manager, Patient Safety, Risk Management Experience in the private emergency medicine environment
  REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE Adverse events framework and grading of patient safety related incidents Computer literacy (MS Office package) Continuous quality improvement methodologies Data analysis and interpretation skills Emergency Medicine Legislative requirements and accreditation standards Patient safety, quality improvement and quality assurance methodologies Private healthcare industry Project Management methodologies Report writing Risk management systems and processes, e.g. audits, CURA, Event Management System Stakeholder management
