This position is with Department of Behavioral Health, Family Member Behavioral Health Line, located at Womack Army Medical Center,  Fayetteville,Fort Liberty, NC.

 

Fayetteville, Fort Liberty is 2 hours from the beach and 5 hours from the Appalachian Mountains with easy access to I-95 and all points north and south. This central North Carolina location enjoys seasonably palatable weather year-round. Responsibilities

As a Clinical Psychologist (Pediatrics) at Fort Bragg, you will:

Screen and interview patients to assess psychological disorders typically affecting children and adolescents.Independently select, administer, score, and interpret psychological tests for the purpose of assessing patient's cognitive, behavioral, educational, and emotional functioning.Diagnose behavioral health conditions in accordance with DSM-V criteria or other, more current, accepted standards.Provide individual and group therapy, using various evidence based/informed modalities as clinically indicated to include brief problem-focused psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and client-centered therapy for children, adolescents, and family members.Provide clinical and administrative oversight to clinical psychology students, interns, residents, and other professionals and/or clinical or administrative staff. Qualifications

US Citizen

 

One year experience as a Clinical Psychologist (Pediatrics)

 

Must have a permanent, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico or a territory of the U.S.

 

All Health Care Providers must be able to obtain and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) Training and certification. Current Advanced Life Support of other advanced certification does not supersede BLS completion
