Clinical Operations Analyst - Remote/Travel to Indiana

The Clinical Operations Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the clinical operations team by providing detailed analysis, data-driven insights, and decision support to optimize practice performance and provider effectiveness. This position will work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to assess clinical outcomes, provider performance, and practice efficiency. The role also contributes to key strategic initiatives, including provider recruitment, practice acquisition feasibility, and staffing model analysis. This role involves the direct facilitation of end-user sessions, functional team /process observation, business process mapping (both current and future-state), business case development, organizational change management & communication and coordination with IT business / systems analysts and functional/operational department teams. **This position is remote but will be supporting our businesses in Indiana and will be expected to travel monthly to the offices in Indiana 25% of the time.**
**Schedule: Monday - Friday, standard business hours in EST**
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Clinical Support & Decision Support Analysis:
+ Analyze and interpret clinical data to provide actionable insights for improving operational performance
+ Work with cross-functional teams to support decision-making through data-driven recommendations
+ Assist in evaluating the impact of clinical interventions and practice workflows
+ Utilizing industry best practices, medical research and other resources to develop/partner in development of clinical programs and tools, which facilitate and support quality, cost-effective care
+ Provider Scorecard:
+ Develop and maintain provider performance scorecards that measure quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction
+ Collaborate with clinical leadership to identify performance metrics and key indicators for evaluation
+ Monitor and report on provider performance trends, recommending adjustments as necessary
+ Practice Performance Scorecard:
+ Create and manage comprehensive scorecards for AHN practices, assessing clinical and operational performance
+ Provide regular updates to senior leadership, highlighting performance gaps and opportunities for improvement
+ Develop and maintain systems for tracking performance metrics across different specialties and regions
+ Provider Recruitment & Practice Acquisition Feasibility Assessment and Modeling:
+ Analyze market data to assess the feasibility of recruiting new providers or acquiring new practices
+ Build financial and operational models to assess potential outcomes of provider recruitment and practice acquisitions
+ Work with the recruitment team to assess alignment between business needs and physician expertise
+ Staffing Model Analysis:
+ Analyze staffing needs across practices, developing efficient staffing models that align with patient demand and operational goals
+ Collaborate with HR and practice leaders to forecast staffing requirements and optimize workforce allocation
+ Evaluate the effectiveness of current staffing models and recommend improvements based on data insights

**Required Qualifications:**
+ 3+ years of experience in clinical operations, healthcare analytics, or a similar role within a multi-specialty healthcare environment
+ Demonstrated solid proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and presentation tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
+ Experience in provider performance evaluation, scorecards, and benchmarking
+ Proven knowledge of healthcare provider recruitment, practice acquisition, and financial modeling
+ Proven solid understanding of clinical operations, practice performance metrics, and healthcare staffing models
+ Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
+ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
+ Proven knowledge of clinical workflows, standards, and quality control checks
+ Proven knowledge of the principles and proficiency in data analysis, dashboard creation, and presentation

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
