#LI-DP1Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:Minimum 2 years of full-time RN experience.Portfolio submission required at the interview, including at least two examples of creative or leadership work. Examples may include:Articles submitted for publication, contributions to textbooks, or academic papers.Outlines for classes taught.Performance improvement or evidence-based practice projects.Leadership activities, such as chairing a committee or contributing to a task force, with relevant outputs or outcomes.Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) candidates must have graduate-level nursing education (Master’s or Doctorate).Doctorate (DNP, PhD, DNSc) recommended.Required Certification/Registration:Current California RN license.California CNS certification (can be in process at the time of hire).National board certification (ANCC or equivalent in specialty area) preferred.Current American Heart Association BLS certification.Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certifications:3-5 years of experience in a Medical/Surgical and Stepdown units.Prior experience in the CNS role.Experience leading projects with measurable outcomes.Doctorate in Nursing (DNP, PhD, DNSc) preferred; EdD or other doctorates considered upon review.Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:Minimum 2 years of full-time RN experience.Portfolio submission required at the interview, including at least two examples of creative or leadership work.
