With small nurse to patient ratios, our staff is able to give our critically ill patients the best possible care. Position Summary: Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Recruiter: Jennifer Lawless || jlawles2@covhlth.com || 423-492-5011 Responsibilities + Correlates patient history and support systems within hospital care. + Assess learning needs of patient and family. + Develops and initiates teaching plan, involving patient and family. + Recommends interventions. + Evaluates plan of care. + Resolves problems regarding less complex issues without oversight or supervision. + Member of established active hospital committee or subcommittee with 75% participation in meetings. + Demonstrates willingness to precept new employees/students as directed. + Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested. + Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Qualifications Minimum Education : None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority. Minimum Experience: Must possess at least one (1) year of professional experience. License Requirement: Valid Tennessee RN license.
