CLINICAL MANAGER - HOME HEALTH
Southwest General offers home healthcare services in northern Medina, southwestern Cuyahoga, and eastern Lorain counties. Our Home Health team offers services such as home infusion, nursing and nurse aide services, newborn home visits, social services, and occupational, physical, and speech therapy.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Home Health Clinical Manager is responsible for all facets of daily operations. Expertise in regulatory requirements and OASIS is required. Prefer experience with Allscripts EMR. Directs, coordinates, and evaluates the delivery of home health care and services. Maintains the successful achievement of the agency's mission, goals, and objectives. Responsible for the daily operations of the clinical and support services for the Home Health Department. The Clinical Manager is responsible for the development, coordination and monitoring of activities that promote clinically effective, efficient, and cost-effective patient care. Responsible for the planning, organization and direction of patient care activities in the Home Health Department. Demonstrates leadership competencies and values through development and coaching of direct reports. Promotes succession planning. Monitors and promotes employee retention, recruitment and satisfaction. Consults and collaborates with other health care team members to provide safe, appropriate patient care. Ensures a culture of accountability. Demonstrates the ability to problem solve. Leads by vision.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited or NLN approved RN program. Bachelor's degree.
Required length of experience:
Five (5) years of clinical experience in an acute care setting with three (3) years successful experience in a leadership position.
Required licensure, certification, and/or registry:
Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
CPR, BLS required.
Special Qualifications:
Demonstrates effective problem-solving/decision-making abilities. Demonstrates the ability to plan and prioritize with excellent time management skills. Performs with initiative and innovation. Knowledge of practice requirements for RN and LPN as mandated by the Nurse Practice Act. Knowledge of regulatory and governing bodies standards.
