Summary: Job Profile Summary
Provides technical supervision and training to subordinate-level staff members; performs simple and complex laboratory test procedures in a timely manner as assigned; obtains and interprets data for diagnosis and treatment of disease; performs related laboratory technology duties.

Salary range for this position is $64,772 - $74,135 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. This position also offers a geographic differential of $4.60 hourly for a total salary range of $74,366 - $83,729 annually.

Qualifications:Required Education and Experience
License Requirement1. Possession of a full license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York; or
2. Eligibility for full licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York.

Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or a related health care discipline.

NOTE:
1. As a condition of continued employment, full license eligible incumbents must obtain and maintain the full Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure in the State of New York within six (6) months of their appointment to this title.
2. Possession of the Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure supersedes educational requirements listed above, as stated in section 58-1.5 (b) of the NYS Codes, Rules and Regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

The preferred candidate should have a current NYS clinical licensure (restricted or full) as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, or the ability to obtain such licensure in Flow Cytometry.
