Established in 1997 and now a 237-bed hospital, AdventHealth Celebration Health was designed as a Mediterranean resort-style facility to serve as a cornerstone of health in Disney’s planned community of Celebration, Florida.

The role you’ll contribute:

The Clinical Excellence Coordinator (CEC) contributes to the documentation supporting clinical excellence, including Magnet designation. This role collects and analyzes credentials, clinical education degrees, national nursing certifications, patient experience and completes required data base documents for document submission. This role will also support nursing research with IRB document preparation and performs statistical analysis of research data to support evidence-based practice and performance improvement projects. The CEC will create organizational charts and complex organization and nursing clinical metric graphs/presentations to support accreditation and excellence designation, and submit data to national data bases (NDNQI, DDCT).

Collects and analyzes credentials, clinical education degrees, national nursing certification, patient experience and completes required data base documents for document submission. Develops, tracks, and benchmarks (in collaboration with external organizations, nursing leaders and nursing executives) the clinical excellence performance documents for submission to accrediting organizations ( NDNQI, ANCC).

Supports nursing research with IRB document preparation and performs statistical analysis of research data to support evidence-based practice and performance improvement projects.

Creates organizational charts and complex organization and nursing clinical metric graphs/presentations to support accreditation and excellence designation.

Supports Shared Leadership (SLC) including organization of meetings, agendas, minutes, issue tracking logs, attendance, and (nursing) web site. Communicates to key stakeholders for attendance and follow up of issues. Maintains all documents to support shared decision-making between team members, leaders, and allied professionals.

Participates in research projects to provide scientific evidence around interactive patient-centered care. Maintains compliance and confidentiality of all documents related to research for designated time frames.

Supports operations of the education team, including reports for accreditation, compliance organizations, budget oversite and analysis, including all training programs. Support supply and equipment acquisition.

Submits all PAVS and financial payments to accounting to support accreditation and excellence designation events.

Accountable for the ongoing monitoring of the excellence program's completeness and accuracy of documents submitted to represent evidence to support clinical excellence for the organization.

Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the education department and clinical excellence events and/or nursing administration.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in the field of Healthcare Sciences or Marketing

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing

Team-centered leadership and facilitation skills; ability to interact appropriately with department/teams to facilitate process development, quality improvement, and interaction with leaders, team members, physicians that represent clinical excellence for the campus.

Strong organizational, communication, and customer relations skills; ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.

Ability to process computer data, format, generate reports and analyze data.

Knowledge of research and evaluation/statistical methods and techniques.
