About the Job:

The Clinical Education & Training Manager develops, implements, and oversees administration of clinical education and product training programs that provide MicroAire product users, distributors, and sales agents with information to ensure in-depth product and clinical knowledge. This role also oversees the relationship with MicroAire’s network of surgeon consultants and coordinates with them to develop and execute training events related to the company’s products. Additionally, this role manages MicroAire’s Training budget and works to ensure that all compliance and regulatory requirements are met throughout the course of business.

The Clinical Education & Training Manager position requires frequent interaction with MicroAire employees, as well as surgeons, sales agents, and Sales team members located across the United States. It is a hybrid on-site/remote role requiring a presence at MicroAire’s Charlottesville, Virginia locations on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Identifies, develops, and helps deliver in-person and virtual product training and clinical education for medical professionals evaluating MicroAire products, plus sales distributors and associates representing the company’s products.In collaboration with Product Managers, identifies and continually reassesses training needs across MicroAire product lines and develops new training tools as needed.Creates and tracks performance metrics aligned with training strategy and Marketing department objectives; makes and implements recommendations to deliver against performance metrics.In collaboration with Strategy & Customer Excellence leader, oversees department budget allocation and manages budget within MicroAire guidelines.Understands financial aspects of training activities; makes recommendations to ensure budget is allocated effectively and delivers high-impact clinical education experiences in-line with company objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree and/or degree in biomedical life sciences field preferred.Minimum of 5 years work experience in medical devices or a related field, 1 year of experience in clinical education, is required; Minimum of 3 years work experience in clinical education preferred.Demonstrated ability to develop clinical education plan and evaluate opportunities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with surgeon consultants, sales agents, MicroAire cross-functional team members, and training vendors.Ability to understand and apply financial acumen.Attention to detail and strong event execution.Solid understanding of healthcare compliance policies and bio-skills safety protocols
