Summary: Assesses patients’ nutritional status; develops and implements nutrition care plan; provides consultation and recommendations on nutritional care for hospitalized and clinic patients; works with interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote patient care; provides nutrition instruction to patients, staff and community; participates in interdisciplinary activities, nutrition-related, staff and/or department projects; attends rounds and assists in quality assurance program initiatives; maintains credentialing.

Salary range is $65,001 - $82,656 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:Required Education and Experience

Certification Requirement
1. Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the credentialing agency for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
2. Certified in the State of New York as a Dietitian/Nutritionist.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or a related field and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience as a nutritional services provider.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications

The preferred candidate should have experience working with community partners in nutrition education, developing lifestyle programs, preferably for historically underrepresented patient populations, and managing diabetes and chronic medical condition. The preferred candidate should have experience with billing for nutritional support in an outpatient setting and working in an acute and long-term care settings.
