Clinical Business Product Owner, Pharmacy Advancement-Accredo

**POSITION SUMMARY**
The Senior Business Product Owner (Senior Advisor) must partner with other Business Product Owners, Technical Product Owners, Operational Leaders, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders across the enterprise to evolve Accredo’s Product Strategy to improve customer experience (patients, caregivers, prescribers, and clients), deliver internal mechanisms to drive smarter business decisions, and improve value.
The incumbent provides counsel and advice to top management on significant matters, often requiring coordination between organizations. Focuses on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines. Recognized internally as “the go-to person” for the most complex assignments.
**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**
+ Serves as the customer proxy by understanding key business objectives and strategy of the product.
+ Assesses business value and prioritize all work to maximize value in line with product strategy.
+ Analysis of complex business situations, including distillation of the issues, developing insights and potential solutions, and driving appropriate conclusions.
+ Manage complex cross-functional strategic product development initiatives using appropriate project management skills.
+ Develop and communicate concise presentations and executive briefings.
+ Streamline processes to improve throughput, quality and service level agreements.
+ Create strategies to leverage Technology to drive value.
+ Works with business owners to ensure that they are engaged and supportive of direction.
+ Works with Product Management and Stakeholders to define and prioritize the Product Backlog (refinement).
+ Creates User Stories and Acceptance Criteria, ensuring stories clearly communicate customer/Stakeholder needs to the development team; work with team to clarify stories as necessary.
+ Responsible for final decisions on product functionality.
+ Participates in and prepares for Program Increment Planning.
+ Involved in Program Backlog Refinement.
+ Provides clarification on User Stories and Product Backlog to the team.
+ Accepts User Stories.
+ Participates in team demo, retro, and Inspect and Adapt.
+ Understands and supports inter-team dependencies and escalate issues when necessary.
+ Works with the delivery team to set and communicate release date and scope.
+ Works with Team Members to ensure products are working in production
+ Ability to monitor potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
+ Identifies improvements and codifies them for broader consumption.
+ Collaborates with all team members to promote an environment of empowerment and creativity.
+ Communicates the product roadmap clearly and inspires the team by painting target product vision.
**Key Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree strongly preferred, High School Diploma required
+ At least 6 years relevant experience, i.e., product owner/manager, project manager, Pharmacy experience.
+ Knowledge of Accredo systems and processes highly desired
+ Microsoft Office software experience.
+ Knowledge of agile methodology; advanced problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent communication (oral and written), facilitation, and presentation skills.
+ Willingness to share opinions and take risk.
+ Takes initiative, independent thinker and worker.
+ Strong business analysis skills and familiarity with financial models.
+ Ability to develop and model hypotheses and conclusions while identifying assumptions.
+ Experience with client facing business units preferred.
+ Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage workload and meet project deadlines.
+ Experience leading teams to define, scope, analyze and resolve strategic issues.
